1. CLONES

One of our favorite local bands are a group of kids who call themselves Clones Of The Queen.  If you grew up in Hawaii and you still don’t even know Ara, you were one of those kids of our generation who, for some odd reason, never got into Myspace or Facebook.  What the hell was wrong with you?

Anyway, Clones does some of the most progressive sounding stuff out of Oahu.  They’ll make you dance.  They’re extra amazing when you’re super stoned.  When you’re drunk they make you want to change yourself to be better, but then you just go and get more drunk at the idea of how hard it will be to sing like Ara.

This is getting too deep, I know.

Check out their rad blog.  Download their tunes.  Get an ant farm.

  2. We played a quick one at NextDoor this past Wednesday.  These photos are from Soohee.  Everyone that came to see us showed up right after we were done playing.  Everyone says we play too short.  We think 35 minutes is the sweet spot.  We think like television execs.. without the ads.  No, with our faces as ads.  ..yeah.
